Redbird FMX is configured for Cessna 172 with G1000 and KAP140 Autopilot. Our FMX includes a Control Loading system which allows our students to learn how the aircraft controls will feel at various trim and airspeed combinations. The electric motion platform provides an effective 3-axis motion feedback for yaw, pitch, and roll. All these features plus 200-degree wrap-around visuals make the flying experience feel almost identical to the real aircraft.

In order to help pilots in that transition from piston to turbine helicopters, Destin Flight Works has developed an intensive helicopter turbine transition course in MD-500.
